GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT CAMPS
During the camp your child will be participating in a variety of sports skills and drills as well as games and activities. The normal camp day starts at 9:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Extended hours are 7:00 - 9:00 am and 3:00 - 6:00 pm, so please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your child. For the Football Camp and the Shooting Stars Camp there is a mini-camp which runs 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. We require parents to accompany their child to camp each day as each parent is required to sign their children in and out. If you find you will be late in picking up your child, please call the camp and inform them. Activities will be held in the football stadium. Activities will be held indoors and outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, activities will be modified. Campers must bring their own lunch each day. We provide all the equipment, so no need to bring your own. It's best not to bring any valuables to camp, as we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. We eat lunch around noon. If your child needs to take any medication, make sure and fill out an authorization for medication form and give to staff. Please make sure to apply sunscreen to your child prior to coming to camp.
A blast email will be sent out a few days prior to camp. The email will provide you with all the basic information on the camp (similar to the above info) as well as contact info on the camp. Should you have any questions, please contact us by clicking on the Contact Us tab on the left of the screen.
YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR, PLEASE!!
Make new friends, try new activities and have fun. We want everyone to have a great time, but not at others' expense. We expect all participants to follow directions and to conduct themselves with respect for fellow campers, staff, property and program boundaries. Behavior resulting in extreme disruption or intentional harm to self, others or property may result in removal from the camp at the discretion of program staff.
COVID 19 UPDATES
We are committed to offering safe and high-quality summer camp programming to our participants. In an effort to achieve that goal, staff continues to conduct evaluations of all camp programs in conjunction with guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) the American Camp Association (ACA), Governor Ralph Northam, local health and government officials, and local camp providers. All camp families should understand that camp will look different. Campers must first pass a morning health check prior to being permitted into camp each day. Social distancing will be enforced for all campers and staff. For a listing of changes you can view them in our, download a PDF of our Summer Camp Guidelines 2020
At the conclusion of the camp we will send out an email to you that will provide a link to our online survey. We strongly encourage each of you to take the time to complete the survey. Feedback is important to us.
